Terms of Use

By downloading or using Cawing NAM you agree to these terms.

Effective date 22 August 2026 Product Cawing NAM Developer Mike Coxon

License

Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to copies obtained from the Mac App Store, together with these terms. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Cawing NAM on Apple-branded computers you own or control, as permitted by the App Store rules.

What the app is

Cawing NAM plays Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) profiles and a tone chain (gate, EQ, cabinet IR, chorus, delay, reverb, shimmer). An Audio Unit named Cawing: NAM can be inserted in compatible hosts such as Logic Pro and GarageBand.

Your content and captures

You are responsible for .nam files, IRs, recordings, and presets you import or create. Only use captures and IRs you have the right to use. Community models from TONE3000 remain subject to TONE3000's terms and the capture author's license.

TONE3000

TONE3000 integration is optional and provided "as available." We do not control TONE3000 uptime, catalog quality, or account rules. Do not rely on Cawing NAM to moderate third-party captures; use TONE3000's site to report problems.

Audio and health

Use safe listening levels. Cawing NAM is not a medical device.

Disclaimer

The app is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted low-latency performance. Your computer, audio interface, buffer size, and host DAW affect results.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost recordings, failed gigs, or hearing injury. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app (if any) in the three months before the claim.

NAM engine

DSP for NAM profiles uses NeuralAmpModelerCore and related libraries. License notices are in the app under Help → Acknowledgments.

Changes and termination

We may update the app. If you violate these terms or App Store rules, your license ends and you must stop using the app.
